Mieke Stapelberg is a sex, couples, and mental health therapist and the owner of Greenwich Counseling. She graduated from Northwestern University and has over a decade of experience in the field of human sexuality. She serves as a clinical supervisor for Northwestern University and Fairfield University, supporting graduate trainees in developing their clinical skills and ethical practice.
Mieke works with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, intimacy concerns, and emotional patterns that impact connection. Her approach is grounded, collaborative, and non-judgmental—helping clients better understand themselves and their relationships while developing practical tools for change.
With advanced training in clinical sexology, Mieke supports clients with concerns related to sexual health, desire, communication, and identity in a way that is respectful, affirming, and clinically grounded. She integrates this specialized expertise into broader mental health and relationship work, meeting clients where they are without pressure or assumptions.
